The 15th issue of the INMP (International Network of Museums for Peace) newsletter has been published and is now available on the respective website. Like any other issue of the newsletter, diverse reports and news pieces can be found on this issue regarding different activities held in different peace museums around the world;

Ms. Susanna Terstal , the new Dutch ambassador, whose country is the interim representative of the European Union in Iran, visited Tehran Museum Peace on July 11th and got a first-hand taste of the ambiance and the activities at the museum.
She partook in a tour of the museum accompanied and guided by the veteran members of the museum and reviewed different dimensions of the impacts of chemical weapons that were used against Iran during the Iran-Iraq war. 

Iranian renowned film director and screenwriter, Abbas Kiarostami whom movies acclaimed worldwide by critics and audiences, passed away on July 4th, 2016 due to sickness. 

This prominent film maker, film editor, photographer and poet visited Tehran Peace Museum in 2014 and got to know the guides of the museum whom are the survivors of chemical weapons and enriched his knowledge about their volunteer activities to raise awareness about the consequences of war and promoting a culture of peace.

To commemorate the National Day against Chemical and Biological Weapons which coincides with the anniversary of chemical attack on the Iranian city of Sardasht, an event was held at Tehran Peace Museum which comprised of a friendly meeting and discussion session with veterans and families of chemical victims. Many participants including the veterans and victims of chemical weapons, Peace Museum's narrators, families of the Iraq-Iran war victims, members and activists affiliated with NGOs, public figures and others joined us in observing the day.
