In order to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Gernika, the Gernika Peace Museum, the Peace Research Center Gernika Gogoratuz and the Culture House of Gernika, have organized the International Art Project for Peace, "Kids’ Guernica". It is a major mural exhibition painted by children in different parts of the world on canvas measuring 3.50 x 7.80 m, referring to Picasso’s "Guernica".

Also on 6^th October 2012, V^th international gathering on ART AND PEACE will be held in Guernika focused this year on Kids Guernica project
