Second Round of Tehran-Sardasht Peace Rally Competition
The second round of Tehran-Sardasht Peace Rally was held for the Commemorate of the victims of chemical weapons and development of friendship and peace through tourism on 27, 28 and 29 June 2019 in Tehran-Sardasht road with participation of 40 cars and 130 members of Tehran Peace Museum family, especially chemical victims and their families.
The Rally was held with the cooperation of Chemical Victims Society, Tehran Peace Museum and assistance of Touring and Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs and Sardasht Chemical Victims Society. the details of this rally is the following:

Enlightening and roadmap use training session for competitors in the Rally
In a session held for the rally competitors in Janbazan Medical and Engineering Research Center, experts and referees of the Touring and Automobile club for Islamic Republic of Iran, during 3 stretch hours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., trained them how to use the roadmap and compete in the Rally.

The first day of rally
After sticking rally stickers on automobiles, distributing food tokens and having provided with extra information on the competition, the rally started at 9 a.m. from the Iranian cultural Heritages, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization parking.
Passing Saveh highway in 3 hours, there was a break in Famenin city. A hotel was provided for one night stay in Sanandaj city, which competitors arrived at after passing Hamedan city.

The second day of rally
Likewise the first day, the whole team left for the rest cities at 9 a.m. and after passing 3 cities including Divandareh, Saqez and Baneh (with breaks in 2 latters), competitors crossed the finish line which was determined in the road between Bane and Sardasht.
Before organizing the closing ceremony, the whole team drove to the Sardasht Martyr cemetery to attend in a commemoration took place in Sardasht chemical bombardment anniversary to commemorate who were killed on that barbaric attack. In respect to the memory of these Martyrs and for raising awareness, all the participants drove for couple of minutes in a line.
They were welcomed by Sardasht municipality authorities there.
Then the whole team accompanied by the mentioned authorities headed to visit the venue of painting exhibition called “little narrators” in which paintings of children from Tehran and Sardasht, were depicted. The closing ceremony also took place there and the winners were introduced and awarded.
The last program organized based on the schedule was an informal meeting between the Peace Rally team and the chemical victims of Sardasht.
