Families Play for Peace
On Friday 22 May 2015, a number of families gathered in front of the Tehran Peace Museum in the city’s historic Park-e Shahr to enjoy a day of fun and games to celebrate the International Day of Families and the International Day of Biological Diversity.
This special family day was organized by a group of volunteers called “Playing for Playing.” Families, members and volunteers of the Tehran Peace Museum participated in a number of non-competitive fun-filled games with the aim of sharing peaceful outcomes.
After enjoying the games, the families and friends shared a picnic lunch on the steps of the museum.
“Playing for Playing” have been meeting regularly since 2013 and have attended training workshops about children and games. The group organizes similar events to play with children in need and people with disabilities.
