Ambassador of the Netherlands visited Tehran Peace Museum

NetherlandMr. Cees J. Kole, Ambassador of the Netherlands, together with the First Secretary, Mr. John van der Zende, visited the TPM on 19 June 2013.

Following his visit and during a meeting with museum's staff and volunteers, Ambassador Kole mentioned that: Tehran Peace Museum is more than a museum; it is an educational center to promote culture of peace.

During the meeting, chemical warfare survivors, who volunteer for TPM, expressed their wish for world peace and talked about their relationship with the organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons -OPCW- in the Netherlands, and thanked the Dutch government as the first country to conducted Trial for the companies and individuals who helped Sadam's regime in producing and usage of chemical weapons.
